The Quran Memorization Course is structured Hifz: the student commits the Quran to memory and becomes a Hafiz (male) or Hafiza (female). Memorization follows a daily method — the student learns a new portion, recites it to the tutor for correction, and revises earlier portions so nothing is lost. The aim is Itqan, memorization so firm it stays accurate over years.
Hifz has been preserved this way for fourteen centuries, passed from teacher to student. The same method works online, with a tutor listening, correcting, and tracking every portion.
The Quran Memorization Course has 4 prerequisites:
Fluent Quran reading — the student reads Arabic without help.
Basic Tajweed — correct pronunciation, so memorization is accurate from the start.
A 15-line Mushaf — the standard layout that aids visual memory.
A consistent schedule — 3 to 5 sessions a week, plus daily revision at home.
Students who do not yet read fluently start with the learn Quran online and Tajweed course first.
Each lesson has 3 parts, and the tutor checks all three:
Sabaq (new lesson) — the student memorizes a new portion and recites it for correction.
Recent revision — the portions learned over the past days or weeks are recited again.
Old revision — previously memorized sections are cycled through to keep them firm.
This new-recent-old system is what separates memorizing from retaining. Without structured revision, earlier portions fade; with it, the whole Quran stays accessible.
Students usually memorize in this order:
Juz 30 (Juz Amma) — the short Surahs, which build confidence and method.
Core Surahs — Yaseen, Al-Kahf, Ar-Rahman, Al-Mulk, and Al-Waqi’ah.
The full Quran — juz by juz, with revision layered throughout.
The tutor sets a daily target matched to the student’s age and memory, so progress is steady rather than rushed.
The course suits 3 types of students:
Children from age 6 who read the Quran and are ready to memorize.
Adults who want to memorize the whole Quran or select Surahs.
Returning students who memorized before and want to revise and complete.
The tutor sets a realistic plan after a short assessment, so the target fits the student’s life.
A student can earn an Ijazah after completing memorization with correct Tajweed. An Ijazah is a certification that grants permission to recite and teach the Quran through an unbroken chain of narration back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The tutor guides eligible students toward it once their recitation reaches the required standard.
Each class is a live, one-on-one video session with a certified Hafiz at a time you book. The student recites the new portion and revisions; the tutor corrects mistakes before they set. You choose a male or female teacher and keep the same tutor throughout, which matters here because the tutor tracks every memorized portion.
