Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of Al Asr Quran Academy and the online classes we provide. By booking a trial, enrolling, or using our website, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where relevant, the student in your care.

1. About our service

Al Asr Quran Academy provides live, one-on-one online classes in Quran reading, Tajweed, Quran memorization (Hifz), Arabic, and Islamic studies, delivered by qualified male and female teachers over video. Class times are arranged to suit the student’s time zone.

2. Eligibility and parental consent

You must be at least 18 years old to book classes or enter into these Terms. Classes for a child must be arranged and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the child’s behalf and is responsible for the child’s use of the service.

3. Free trial

We offer a free trial class to new students with no payment and no obligation. The trial is intended for genuine prospective students to assess our teaching. We may limit the number of trial classes per student or family and may decline requests that appear abusive or automated.

4. Enrolment and scheduling

  • After the trial, you may enrol by choosing a plan and confirming a class schedule.
  • Classes are booked at agreed recurring times; please arrive on time and ready to learn.
  • If you need to reschedule or cancel a class, let us or your teacher know in advance so we can arrange a suitable alternative where possible.

5. Fees and payment

  • Our plans are billed monthly. Current pricing is shown on our Fee Structure page.
  • There is no long-term contract — you may stop at the end of a paid period.
  • Fees are payable in advance for each period. Classes are provided for the period you have paid for; unpaid periods may be paused until payment is received.
  • We do not store card or bank details on this website.

6. Cancellations, refunds, and missed classes

You may cancel future billing at any time before the next period begins. Missed classes that are not cancelled with reasonable notice may not be refunded or made up, though we will always try to be fair and accommodate genuine circumstances. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it promptly.

7. Student and parent responsibilities

  • Provide a device with a working camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection.
  • Ensure a suitable, supervised environment for the student during classes.
  • Treat teachers with respect and Islamic good manners (adab).
  • Do not record, copy, or share classes or materials without our permission.

8. Our teachers and conduct

Our teachers are expected to teach with knowledge, patience, and Islamic etiquette, and to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. If you ever have a concern about a class or teacher, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Learning materials and intellectual property

Any lesson materials, PDFs, or resources we provide are for the personal use of the enrolled student only. The website, its content, and our branding remain our property or that of our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including using our forms to send spam or marketing, attempting to disrupt classes or the website, impersonating others, or using the service for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or end service to anyone who breaches these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

We provide our classes with care and sincerity, but we do not guarantee any specific academic outcome, memorization pace, or result, as progress depends on the student’s effort and consistency. The service is provided on an “as available” basis and may occasionally be affected by technical issues outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Asr Quran Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or classes. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these Terms are breached or where continuing would be unlawful or unsafe.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
